Ideal package for those who like to extend their trip a little longer, it consists of 3 days and 2 nights of accommodation.
Day 1
08:30 - Pick up from the hotel in Manaus, transfer to Amazon Tucuna Expedition.
We will make a stop at the Pirarucu floating platform (Giants of the Amazon).
We will continue the river journey to the Meeting of the Waters.
Brief stop to take photos at the Meeting of the Negro and Solimões rivers.
Possibility of spotting pink river dolphins in this region.
Estimated arrival at Tucuna Expedition at 11:00.
Check-in.
Tour of the lodge facilities.
12:00 - Lunch.
3:00PM - Departure in a motorized canoe for a tour of the region.
5:30PM - Canoeing at sunset.
7:30PM - Dinner.
After dinner, motorized canoe tour to observe nocturnal animals, with the main attraction being the spotting of the Jacaré-Açu (giant caiman).
Day 2
09:00AM - Departure for a jungle walk with a specialized (native) guide. During the walk, the guide will demonstrate some jungle survival techniques using forest resources. You will learn to identify some medicinal and edible plant species.
Visit to the sumaúma tree.
Return for lunch.
3:00PM - Departure in motorized canoes to fish for piranhas, and possibly other types of fish.
Canoeing at sunset.
7:30PM - Dinner.
After dinner, nighttime river tour.
Observe nocturnal animals.
Spotting of caimans.
Relax and enjoy the lodge’s pool.
Day 3
05:30AM – Departure by canoe to watch the sunrise and observe the morning flight of birds. Return for a regional breakfast.
07:30AM - Breakfast
09:00AM - Departure by motorized canoe to visit the natives' homes, where we can learn a little about their culture and customs.
12:30PM - Lunch.
3:00PM - Check out and departure to Manaus with arrival scheduled for 5:00PM.
